A QUAD bike rider was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC helicopter after an accident in Lancelin on Tuesday afternoon.
The 24-year-old rider is reported to have come over the top of a dune and become airborne as the back of the dune dropped away.
He suffered deep lacerations to his leg and knee.
Police said the man was wearing a helmet but was dressed only in board shorts and a T-shirt.
Alcohol was not involved and there were no eyewitnesses to the accident.
The injuries were not life threatening and the man is expected to make a full recovery.
