ALTHOUGH the lack of rain before the end of last week had meant the postponing of the seeding program for the Benedictine Community at New Norcia, the farm staff along with the Catenian and Dardanup Parish volunteer groups were kept busy with the picking of the olives in time for the 2012 press.

The good news is it has rained and the olive harvest has been abundant.
We can now look forward to the new season’s olive oil on the shelves at the New Norcia Museum and Art Gallery shop soon.
