PUNTER heavily bet against for his slow-over tactics … Australia's new-age cricket given the old-school treatment … Geoff Huegill to return in lanes one and two … Adelaide United get their behinds kicked by Gumboot Osaka … Al Baxter widely praised for his scrummaging nous by British press. If there is any justice in the world Didier Drogba ensured a Burnley fan received justice this week. As Chelsea went ahead through Drogba's 27th-minute goal in the Carling Cup match, the fan's coin somehow found its way to the grassy patch near the striker's foot. After giving that section of the crowd a one-fingered salute, Drogba kindly flung the coin back to the vicinity of its owner. He was later forced to apologise and faces a possible ban. Chelsea blew their lead and choked in the penalty shoot-out to be knocked out by a club placed fifth in the Championship, whose fans probably believe there has been justice all around. Professional's tip for the weekend Tattoos are all the rage among sportsmen - it's now tougher to spot those without any ink. But if you're going to do it, take Washington Wizards basketballer Gilbert Arenas's lead and be original.

The Washington Post reported this week: "Arenas has decided to show his permanent support of President-elect Barack Obama with a tattoo. Arenas had the words "Change We Believe In" tattooed on to the fingers of his left hand.

"Arenas shortened Obama's campaign slogan, 'Change We Can Believe In', choosing not to add ink to his thumb. Arenas has 'change' written on the outside of his index finger; 'we' on the inside of his middle finger; 'believe' on the inside of his ring finger; and 'in' on the inside of his pinky and '44' on the outside of his pinky. In case you didn't already know, Obama will be the 44th POTUS."

Arenas told the paper he had always intended to vote for Obama despite saying the previous week he would not vote. "I wasn't going to sit there and wing it for no reason," he said, "Like, oh yeah, he's black so I'm voting [for him]. I could've said I was voting for [John] McCain because he's from Arizona and went to all the games."

Arenas said he went with Obama because he was impressed with his demeanour and temperament. The story continued: "Arenas has gone all out for Obama, adding that he hired an artist last week to paint a mural with Obama's family on one side and Arenas's fiancee and children on another side of a wall in Arenas's house." It's not porn but you'll like it Arenas got his wish and Obama triumphed, but you'd love to see them go through the whole campaign again just to see the decisive battle that secured the key votes in Ohio. Go to YouTube and search: "Obama and McCain - Dance Off!" Know your role Sourav Ganguly certainly let Ricky Ponting know his place in Kolkata's Indian Premier League side. Ponting recalls in his Captain's Diary 2008 of his time at the Knight Riders franchise earlier this year being led by his now-retired arch rival. "Sourav is very driven in the way he trains and prepares, a bloke who will get into a net and bat and bat and bat. There were a couple of times I was due to use his net straight after him but I was left standing there, waiting 20 or 30 minutes with my pads on, before I finally had my hit." Ponting also reveals that during an IPL game he was trying to get Ganguly's attention because he thought the field could be placed better. When he failed, Ponting made the change, but was banished to the third-man boundary by "The Prince" shortly after. Revelations A policewoman has been arrested for allegedly helping her amateur footballer son, who is accused of murdering teenage model Amy Leigh Barnes, London's The Daily Mail reported this week.

The story states: "The woman, an officer with West Midlands Police, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on the day her son, Ricardo Morrison, 21, appeared in court charged with Amy's murder. The 19-year-old part-time model and actress was stabbed to death on Saturday at her home in Bolton, Greater Manchester." Brother, can you spare a sledge? Harbhajan Singh has continued to taunt Ponting following India's win, telling local newspaper DNA this week: "Ponting was winning matches because he had great players like [Adam] Gilchrist, [Shane] Warne and [Glenn] McGrath … Now that they are gone, we can see that he is not an inspirational leader. He made mistakes in the Border-Gavaskar series. He is a very average captain. And he is a very average player, too, especially here in India." Get me my cab money Zucc's tip for the last … Promising country-trained sprinter Reggae Ameena (box five) has won her past two Nowra runs and gets her chance to open her city account at Wentworth Park tonight. If you're not watching sport, you should be listening to … RocknRolla . Soundtrack. He may have been under Madge's thumb, not had sex for 18 months and can only make gangster flicks, but Guy Ritchie can put together a good soundtrack.
