Dumpers, dolphins and drop lines – holiday fun at Lancelin

28 Jan, 2010 11:07 AM
WHAT better way to escape the summer heat and wind down after a hard year’s work, than to get away to the beach.

There has been plenty of warm weather, good fishing, waves and even some wind for the sailboarders.

And it was a Central Midlands farmer’s reunion at back beach in Lancelin last week as the warm weather and gentle waves brought families in to make the most of their last few days of holidays before work starts up again for the year.

A couple of dolphins also came along to enjoy the good weather and abundant fish.

We caught up with a few of the families that make a yearly pilgrimage to Lancelin in summer.
