Coomberdale turns one hundred

19 Nov, 2009 02:37 PM
PAST and present residents and friends celebrated Coomberdale’s centenary and witnessed the raising of a time capsule on Sunday, October 25.

The event was organised by the Coomberdale Progress Association and was well attended by current locals and returned guests.

Morning tea and lunch was provided for the people, some who travelled from quite far away to attend.

A delicious celebratory cake was cut by local icon Elena Passamani Dela Vedova before the time capsule was raised.
