Car crash on Great Northern in Wannamal

RAC Rescue was sent to the scene of a car crash on Great Northern Highway in Wannamal, 31 kilometres north of Bindoon in the early hours of Friday morning January 13.

It is understood that the vehicle hit a kangaroo, rolled and struck a tree.

Firefighters from Ellenbrook Fire and Rescue Service, Gingin Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service and Wannamal Bush Fire Brigade responded to the scene and provided assistance.

The occupant was removed from the car and transported to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter.
